LinkedIn

The data controller has integrated LinkedIn components on this website. LinkedIn is a business and employment-focused social media platform that operates through websites and mobile apps. The platform is primarily used for professional networking and career development and enables job seekers to publish their CVs and employers to publish job vacancies.

The operating company of LinkedIn is LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W Maude Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA. LinkedIn Corporation is a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website is accessed, which is operated by the data controller and on which a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective LinkedIn component to download a representation of the corresponding LinkedIn component from LinkedIn. Further information on the LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at https://developer.linkedin.com/product-catalog/plugins As part of this technical process, LinkedIn receives information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognises which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting each time the data subject accesses our website and for the entire duration of their stay on our website. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the LinkedIn buttons integrated on our website, for example the "Share" button, LinkedIn assigns this information to the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

LinkedIn always receives information via the LinkedIn component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the LinkedIn component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to LinkedIn, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their LinkedIn account before accessing our website.

The data protection provisions published by LinkedIn, which can be accessed at https://de.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy, provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by LinkedIn.

Instagram

The data controller has integrated components of the Instagram service on this website. Instagram is a service that qualifies as an audiovisual platform and allows users to share photos and videos and also to redistribute such data in other social networks.

The operating company of the Instagram services is Instagram LLC, 1 Hacker Way, Building 14 First Floor, Menlo Park, CA, USA.

With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and on which an Instagram component (Insta button) was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to the download of a display of the corresponding Instagram component of Instagram. During the course of this technical procedure, Instagram is made aware of what specific sub-page of our website was visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in to Instagram at the same time, Instagram recognises which specific sub-page the data subject is visiting each time the data subject accesses our website and for the entire duration of their stay on our website. This information is collected by the Instagram component and assigned by Instagram to the respective Instagram account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the Instagram buttons integrated on our website, the data and information transmitted with it is assigned to the personal Instagram user account of the data subject and stored and processed by Instagram.

Instagram always receives information via the Instagram component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to Instagram at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Instagram component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to Instagram, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their Instagram account before accessing our website.

Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Instagram can be found at https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388 and https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.

Where the data is stored

Please note that our companies and our trusted partners and service providers are located around the world. We store and process any non-personal data we collect in different jurisdictions for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

How long the data is retained

Please note that we will retain the information we collect for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal and contractual obligations to you, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

We may correct, amend or delete inaccurate or incomplete data at any time at our sole discretion.

How we protect the data

The hosting service for our digital assets provides us with the online platform through which we can offer you our services. Your data can be stored via our hosting provider's data storage, databases and general applications. It stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall and it provides secure HTTPS access to most areas of its services.

Notwithstanding the measures and efforts taken by us and our hosting provider, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of the information you upload, post or otherwise transmit to us or others.

For this reason, we ask that, whenever possible, you do not provide us or others with confidential information that you believe could cause you significant or lasting harm if disclosed. As email and instant messaging are not considered secure forms of communication, we also ask that you do not disclose confidential information through either of these communication channels.

Updating or amending the privacy policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time at our own discretion, the version published on the website is always up-to-date (see "Status"). We ask you to check this Privacy Policy regularly for changes. In the event of significant changes, we will publish a notice on our website. If you continue to use the services after being notified of changes on our website, this will be deemed to be your confirmation and consent to the changes to the privacy policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of these changes.
